Williams Honey Farm

BEEKEEPING SCHOOL

Presented by Maple Bend Bee Supply

It’s official, we’re back in-person!!!!

On February 25, 26, 27 2022, Williams Honey Farm will host our sixth annual Beginning Beekeeping School weekend at Green Door Gourmet along with our presenting sponsor, Maple Bend Bee Supply! Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a beekeeper?  Are you overwhelmed by all the conflicting information found on the internet?  Do you need a little more education than just a textbook at home?  Do you want to train on the actual equipment you will be using?  We’re trying to change the way beekeeping schools are taught and this is your chance to jump on board.

We’re also offering our Sophomore Beekeeper Reboot Class on Friday night 2/25 again this year. We’ll talk about best practices, queen rearing tricks, varroa control and maybe even practice marking queens. This will be a jam packed 3 hours so hold on to your seats…

Special group rates available for parties of 4 or more!  Email info@williamshoneyfarm.com to sign up your group.

Covid statement: We care very much about your safety and those around you and do not want there to be any surprises when you arrive.   There will be over 60 of us in the same classroom for 16 hours!  Masks are strongly encouraged.  In addition, Covid vaccination card OR negative Covid (PCR) test results within 72 hours will be required to attend all in-person events Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Sign up for Beekeeping School!

Our 2-day Beginner Beekeeping School is comprised of 16 hours of intense beekeeping training. Instruction is delivered in the form of lecture, hands on practice, and low stress testing. You’ll get the chance to bond with other new beekeepers, ask as many questions as you want, and pick up any extra tools/equipment you might have overlooked.
Saturday night of beekeeping school you also will have the opportunity to invite loved ones to a special “Love Your Honey” gourmet dinner! This four course meal has sold out every year and is a perfect opportunity to educate your significant other on the benefits of being a beekeeper! You don’t want to miss this bonding experience.
