BEEKEEPING SCHOOL

We have made the hard decision that this year’s beginning beekeeper school will not happen in person at Green Door Gourmet due to the Corona virus. We are super bummed but look forward to seeing everyone in person during the spring of 2022! For now, we have transitioned our program to be completely digital taking place online over a 6 week period this spring! It will contain the same insights and instructional pieces of our in-person trainings but will be spread out for better learning during a 6 week period. In addition to video trainings and instructional guides, participants will also get multiple Live Q&A Sessions, downloadable guides, construction plans, and access to our Tactical Beekeeper Alerts. Access to all training materials will be available for an entire year! Our 2-day Beginner Beekeeping School is comprised of 15 hours of intense beekeeping training. Instruction is delivered in the form of lecture, hands on practice, and low stress testing. You’ll get the chance to bond with other new beekeepers, ask as many questions as you want, and pick up any extra tools/equipment you might have overlooked. After school you’ll even be invited to a closed bee school alumni Facebook group where you can keep up with your new friends and trade war stories from the field.
Saturday night of beekeeping school you also will have the opportunity to invite loved ones to a special “Love Your Honey” gourmet dinner! This four course meal has sold out every year and is a perfect opportunity to educate your significant other on the benefits of being a beekeeper!
