On March 5-7, 2021, Williams Honey Farm will host our fifth annual Beginning Beekeeping School! Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a beekeeper? Are you overwhelmed by all the conflicting information found on the internet? Do you need a little more education than just a textbook at home? Do you want to train on the actual equipment you will be using? We’re trying to change the way beekeeping schools are taught and here is your chance to jump on board. Special sophomore beekeeper reboot class Friday night (available with an additional household member)!

Our 2-day Beginner Beekeeping School is comprised of 15 hours of intense beekeeping training. Instruction is delivered in the form of lecture, hands on practice, and low stress testing. You’ll get the chance to bond with other new beekeepers, ask as many questions as you want, and pick up any extra tools/equipment you might have overlooked. After school you’ll even be invited to a closed bee school alumni Facebook group where you can keep up with your new friends and trade war stories from the field.

Saturday night of beekeeping school you also will have the opportunity to invite loved ones to a special “Love Your Honey” gourmet dinner! This four course meal has sold out every year and is a perfect opportunity to educate your significant other on the benefits of being a beekeeper! You don’t want to miss this bonding experience. Choose “Honey themed dinner” under the classes drop down at the link below.
